This project initially was for the installation of multiple power ducts and concrete jointing pits across an extensive network at the Rosedale Water Treatment Plant.

The project started as an initial eight-month job which then turned into 61 variations for additional works extending the job under 16 months. This included installing water, stormwater and sewer pipelines as enabling works for Watercare’s new Thermal Hydrolysis Plant and installation of an extensive Water Sprinkler System internally and externally on various large concrete chambers.

The project was completed in February 2021.

The project had a large portion of work outside our core business and through satisfying the Customer and the Principal we were awarded more work than we originally tendered for.

We built a level of trust with the Client that our prices and methodologies were sound. Competitive pricing and efficient responding, followed by effective execution were key factors in making that happen.

The fact than an 8 month project turned into a 24 month project with so much follow-on work is a testament to the outstanding job we did. We definitely built on our capability and reputation in this job for future challenging projects.
